Yarn Nest

I followed the patterns on this page .

But I used different yarn, crochet hook, and only one strand of yarn.

Supplies
  • two 5 oz / 142 g of Lion Brand yarn Super Bulky (6), Monterey Lime color
  • Boye 15.75 mm - Q crochet hook
I did total of 16 rounds. On the 15th round, I did 2 decreases on each end which made it only 32 stitches left.

Instructions (Copied from Neanners Shop):
Ch 11 (Should measure about 9 inches long unstretched).
Round 1- Starting with the left side, 2 Sc in second ch from hook, sc in next 8 ch. 2 sc in last ch. Continuing to work in a round, 2 sc in opposite side of last ch. Sc in next 8 ch on the opposite side. 2 sc in last ch. (24 sc) DO NOT sl st with first sc. Continue working over first round. Place marker over next sc to mark beginning.
Round 2- 2 sc in next sc. Sc in next 10 sc. 2 sc in next 2 sc. Sc in next 10 st. 2 sc in last sc in round. (28 sc)
Round 3- 2 sc in next sc. Sc in next 12 sc. 2 sc in next 2 sc. Sc in next 12 st. 2 sc in last sc in round. (32 sc)

Round 5+ Sc in each sc around until nest measures about 11 inches. Sl st in last 2 sc when you have reached desired length. Cut yarn and weave in ends.
