Ingredients
- ground pork - 3 lbs
- potato starch - 4 tablespoons
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- salt - 1 1/4 teaspoon
- Hondashi - 1 tablespoon
- sugar - 2 teaspoons
- white pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
- baking powder (Dr. Oetker brand only) - 1 pouch
- ice water or ice - 1/2 cup
- put all ingredients in mixer (I used Kitchenaid mixer), use 4 speed and mix for 6 - 7 minutes (slowly add ice water / ice so ground pork stays cold)
- freeze for at least 4 hours
- try to squeeze the ground pork into a ball
- cook them in a pot of water (put them in while the water is warm)
- medium heat (cook a little longer after they float)
